WHAT IS CORRECTIVE EXERCISE?
Corrective Exercise is a technique that leverages an understanding of anatomy, kinesiology, and biomechanics to address areas of your body which you’re compensating in movement and causing an imbalance. Our goal is to bring you back to homeostasis that doesn’t cause you any long-term issues in the future.
It is a series of stretching and exercises uniquely customized for your body with the objective of bringing you to the ideal state of posture which allows your body to function most efficiently.
Our corrective exercises help reduce stress, eliminate chronic pain, improve proper muscles recruitment, improve body mechanics, improve circulation, and more as you continue to do them. These trainings will aid your body in becoming a strong and health vessel for your mind and soul.
WHY STRETCHING IS IMPORTANT
Myofascial stretches put tension into the fascia that encase your muscles. This improves the quality of the fascia, giving you space and balance in the body while correcting structural imbalances and releasing the tension across joints that can lead to inflammation and pain.
USING A RANGE OF TECHNIQUES
We will decompress your spine, level your pelvis, create space around your compressed joints, stretch and normalize fascial chains, and strengthen muscles so you can maintain your new optimal position.
